FB-1 Visa Requirements
The first step in securing your adult child an FB-1 green card is ensuring that you and your son or daughter qualify. There are several different requirements that both the petitioner (parent) and the beneficiary (child) must meet.
Requirements for FB-1 visa petitioners/applicants include:
- The parent must be a U.S. citizen
- The parent must prove they can financially support the child
- The child must be 21 years or older
- The child must be unmarried
If these requirements are met, then our firm is ready to help you prepare your family's potential I-130 Petition for your child (or, in some cases, step-child) and walk you through the rest of the application process. For clients who need it, we can also help them prepare for their consulate interview and ensure that the path towards visa approval is efficiently and effectively pursued.
